With Crota’s End now officially live in Destiny 2, Bungie has also added a brand-new seal and title called Swordbearer for players to unlock. Just like any previous seal in the game, this new seal also comes with a curated set of challenges that players must complete in order to unlock its slick new title.

How to unlock the Swordbearer title in Destiny 2
As mentioned above, the new Swordbearer seal comes with its own set of objectives and challenges that you need to complete inside the reprised Crota’s End raid in Destiny 2. Below is the list of challenges to unlock this seal in the game.
- Crota’s End: Trophies from the “Crota’s End” raid.
- Crota’s End: Complete any version of the “Crota’s End” raid. The reward is the “Illuminated Peril” emblem. (all four encounters)
- Spoils of Conquest: Loot 3 hidden chests in the “Crota’s End” raid. The reward is the “Warped Rachis” shader.
- Unbowed: Complete all encounters in “Crota’s End” with a full fireteam of clanmates.
- Retributive Charge: Complete all encounters in the “Crota’s End” raid with a full fireteam of Arc subclasses.
- Enlightened Emanation: Complete all encounters of the “Crota’s End” raid with a full fireteam of Solar subclasses.
- Hidden Depths: Complete all encounters of the “Crota’s End” raid with a full fireteam of Void subclasses.
- In Unison: Complete all encounters of the “Crota’s End” raid with a full fireteam of the same class. (Reward: Essence of Oversoul)
- Conservation of Energy: Complete the “Conservation of Energy” challenge mode. (Reward: Essence of Oversoul)
- Feather-Light: Complete the Abyss encounter in the Stills without letting any player reach 10 stacks of Weight of Darkness. (Reward: Essence of Oversoul)
- Precarioous Balance: Complete the “Precarious Balance” challenge mode. (Reward: Essence of Oversoul)
- Threatening Reach: Defeat all Swordbearers in the Oversoul Throne Bridge encounter from the opposite side of the chasm. (Reward: Essence of Oversoul)
- Equal Vessels: Complete the “Equal Vessels” challenge mode. (Reward: Essence of Oversoul)
- Communal Rites: During each round of the Ir Yut encounter, at least one player must expunge Ir Yut. (Reward: Essence of Oversoul)
- All For One: Complete the “All For One” challenge mode. (Reward: Essence of Oversoul)
- Singular Sensation: Complete the Crota, Son of Oryx encounter with only one player Enlightened at a time. (Reward: Essence of Oversoul)
- Broken Throne: Complete the Master tier of “Crota’s End.” (Reward: War’s Lament exotic ship and Essence of the Oversoul +2)
- Conquest By Virtue: Complete all encounter challenges in the Master tier of “Crota’s End.” (Reward: Crota’s Exile exotic sparrow)
