How To Get Khvostov 7G-0X Exotic Auto Rifle In Destiny 2
Your journey begins in the Pale Heart destination. In short, you need to gather a total of 17 Motes of Light that are scattered across the map to unlock the Khvostov 7G-0X Exotic Auto Rifle.
To get started, fast travel to the Lost City landing zone and make your way to the Speaker’s room. You’ll notice there are eight marked podiums with a text prompt on each of them. These are the Visions of the Traveler. Collecting them will unlock one Mote of Light each. So, in total, you will get eight Motes of Light from these Visions. Here are the locations for each of them. (we’ll start from left to right)
1. Vision of the Traveler: The Landing
For this vision, you need to fast travel to The Landing. After spawning in, look to your left down where there’s a pool with a waterfall. Jump down and you’ll see the first Vision of the Traveler right next to the waterfall.
Collect it to unlock the first Mote of Light.
2. Vision of the Traveler: The Blooming
To find the next Vision of the Traveler, fast travel to The Blooming landing zone, spawn in, and head to the entrance of The Seclusion. Look for three large leafless trees, and climb to the top of the tree closest to the entrance to find the Vision. Jump from one tree to another until you reach it.
Collect it to unlock the first Mote of Light.
3. Vision of the Traveler: The Impasse
This one is pretty straightforward. Fast travel to The Impasses, Then, turn around and head left from where you spawn. Look for big pyramid-like buildings filled with Taken enemies. You’ll notice this Vision inside a circular structure, to the far left of the area next to a staircase.
Collect it to unlock the first Mote of Light.
4. Vision of the Traveler: The Lost City
Fast travel to The Lost City landing zone, and head towards Micah-10’s conduit. Notice a small entrance on the left side. Enter it and follow the path until you reach the exit, where you’ll encounter a group of Hive enemies.
Next, jump onto the platform to the right of the area, as indicated below. Continue along the path until you reach a waterfall. You will encounter some Dread enemies in this location. Jump into the waterfall, and you’ll find the Vision waiting for you inside.
Collect it to unlock the first Mote of Light.
5. Vision of the Traveler: The Refraction
To start, fast travel to The Landing point. Once there, head straight ahead until you spot a cave-like entrance (it’s not a cave) on the far left side of the map. Enter and follow the path until you come across a gate resembling the Dreaming City’s architecture.
Go through the gate and continue along the path until you reach a room where you’d typically find a Prismatic chest. Look for a passage leading downward on the left side of the room. Follow it, and you’ll enter the next area. Defeat the Shrieker enemy and jump across to the left. Turn around, and you’ll see a platform below the ledge. Descend and explore the small cave to discover the next Vision of the Traveler.
Collect it to unlock the first Mote of Light.
6. Vision of the Traveler: The Seclusion
This one requires progress with the Micah-10’s Lost Ghosts questline. For this, you need to fast travel to The Blooming and track the Searing Light cyst on the map. Simply follow the waypoint marker on your HUD until you reach the Hive runes with a blocked entrance.
Shoot the runes that are shown on the blocked entrance to unlock. Proceed and clear a bunch of Taken thrall. Instead of exiting the cave, look to your right and you’ll see a platform. Jump above and you’ll find this Vision inside this small cave.
Collect it to unlock the first Mote of Light.
7. Vision of the Traveler: The Divide
For this one, you need to make your way from The Blooming spawn point, all the way to the top of the giant wall in The Divide. This one is probably the longest you’ll need to travel for. To make things easier, mark the Frozen Skirmish Pathfinder Objective on the map.
This will enable a waypoint marker for you on your HUD. After that, simply follow the marker and it’ll lead you directly to The Divide. However, you’ll need to go a bit further for this Vision. Keep moving up until you reach an entrance with some antennas. You’ll find this Vision to the left behind some boxes.
Collect it to unlock the first Mote of Light.
8. Vision of the Traveler: The Transgression
Fast travel to The Impasses, and make your towards the Transgression area. Again, to make things easier, track the Pathfinder objective in the area to enable waypoint markers. Follow the path until you reach the first Darkness open area with dead trees all over the place. Move forward into the room with three small glowing lights.
Enter, jump above the middle platform, and exit the square-shaped room to the right. You’ll enter the second open Darkness area. Move forward until you reach a giant pillar. From there, move to your left, hug the wall and you’ll find this Vision behind a giant tree branch.
Collect it to unlock the first Mote of Light.
How to get Motes of Light in Destiny 2
For the next nine Motes of Light, you’ll have to take down bosses in the Overthrow activity located in the Pale Heart destination. There are nine bosses in total, with three stationed at each landing zone – The Landing, The Impasse, and The Blooming. Defeat all nine bosses to collect all nine Motes.
Keep in mind that boss spawns are random, so you may need to repeat the activity until you obtain all nine Motes of Light.
How to Mote of Primordial Light in Destiny 2
