Today, Bungie revealed some new details about Destiny 2’s upcoming three episodes – Echoes, Revenant, and Heresy, including some concepts for armor, weapons, and destinations.
Earlier today, Bungie released a new video on YouTube, showcasing what’s coming to Destiny 2 in the year of The Final Shape and the conclusion of the decade-long Light and Darkness saga.

During the showcase video, the Destiny 2 developer revealed a whole bunch of new stuff, including some really interesting weapons, armor, episode themes, and destinations.

Destiny 2 Reveals New Details About Episode Echoes, Revenant and Heresy
The first episode – Echoes, will be released on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. This will take players to Nessus, a destination that’s now been transformed by this echo. Here’s a quick overview of this episode:

- Breach Executable activity
- Failsafe vendor
- All Episode Echoes Weapons and Perk Combinations
Revenant is the second episode in the year of The Final Shape. According to Bungie, it’s a Fallen-themed episode, and has “more dark fantasy themes.” Here’s a quick overview of this episode:
- Fallen-themed
- Slayer Baron armor
- “Vampire Hunter” fantasy
- A new system called Potion Crafting, allows players to boost seasonal Artifact and loot drops.
- Fikrul, The Fanatic is back
Heresy is the third and the last episode for The Final Shape year. It’s focused on the Hive, “dealing with some new interesting revelations that happen,” said Bungie. Here’s a quick overview of this episode:
- Hive-themed
- Dreadnaught returns
- New Bone-y weapons
- New Hive Ship Navigator armor
- New Eris Morn-themed armor
- New activity takes inspiration from the Shattered Realm, and The Coil.
