A new GTA 6 leak from an online retailer may have revealed graphics modes and three possible launch editions ahead of preorders.
GTA 6 preorders are almost here, and the timing could not be bigger for Rockstar fans. After years of waiting, the next major news drop for Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected later this week, with preorders set to open on June 25th and more official details likely coming alongside them.
There are also rumors going around that Rockstar could release Trailer 3 on the same day, though nothing has been confirmed yet. Still, with preorder pages starting to appear at retailers, fans are watching every little detail closely. Now, just days before the big announcement, we may have some new information about the game’s editions and what graphics options players can expect on console.

The latest details come from an FAQ posted on Media Markt Poland’s GTA 6 preorder page. Since this is not coming directly from Rockstar, it should be taken with a grain of salt for now. That said, the page includes some interesting claims about graphics modes, PS5 features, loading times, and possible launch editions.
GTA 6 May Include Quality and Performance Modes
According to the FAQ, GTA 6 on current-gen consoles will offer two graphics modes: Performance and Quality. That would not be surprising, since most major PS5 and Xbox Series X|S games now give players a choice between better visuals or smoother frame rates.
Performance Mode would likely focus on higher frame rates, while Quality Mode would likely focus on better visual detail, lighting, resolution, or overall image quality. The FAQ also mentions DualSense haptic feedback on PS5 and fast loading screens thanks to SSDs.
Here’s the (machine) translated version of the Polish text:
“By purchasing the console version, you can be sure that you are getting a product refined down to the smallest details. GTA VI on next-generation consoles offers two graphics modes to choose from, Performance and Quality, the use of DualSense controller features on PS5 providing realistic haptic vibrations, and lightning-fast loading screens thanks to the power of SSD drives.”

Again, this has not been confirmed by Rockstar yet, so take it with a grain of salt.
Three GTA 6 Launch Editions Listed
The same Media Markt Poland page also mentions three possible editions for GTA 6: Standard Edition, Special Edition, and Collector’s Edition.
The page says that edition details will be shared when preorders begin, but the mention of these three versions is already raising questions. A Standard Edition is obvious, and a Special Edition would make sense given Rockstar’s past releases. A Collector’s Edition would also be a big deal, especially if it includes physical items or exclusive bonuses.
For now, though, none of these editions have been officially announced by Rockstar. Retailer pages can sometimes include early information, but they can also use placeholder text before final details go live.

What do you think? Would you play GTA 6 in Performance Mode or Quality Mode, and which edition would you buy if these three versions turn out to be real?
