Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost 2024 kicks off on October 29, and it looks like players will be able to earn Exotic Class Items during the event.

With the new Vesper’s Host dungeon officially out, players are now looking forward to the next big event: the Halloween-themed Festival of the Lost. This year’s event is set to begin on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.

This year, Bungie is spicing things up by adding some exciting new rewards for players to earn, alongside the familiar event currencies like Candies, Eerie Engrams, and Spectral Pages.

As always, players can look forward to collecting a variety of new masks and event-themed items. This year’s lineup includes masks inspired by popular characters like Kadi 55-30, The Witness, Cayde-6, Nezarec, Marathon’s Runner, and even a Finalized Ghost.

In addition to that, it seems there might be something extra special in store for 2024.

Exotic Class Items Could Be on the Menu During Festival of the Lost 2024

Following the launch of Episode Revenant, Bungie updated Destiny 2’s API to introduce a variety of new seasonal content, including weapons, armor, and other cosmetics. Among these additions, players spotted a different version of Exotic Class Items linked to the upcoming Festival of the Lost 2024 event.

According to the popular community database website, light.gg, it appears that players will be able to acquire these Exotic Class Items from Eva Levante, the event’s vendor, during this year’s Festival of the Lost. The information suggests that each Exotic Class Item will cost 1 Eerie Engram and 2,000 Candies—currencies that players can earn by participating in event activities like Haunted Sectors.

That said, it’s still unclear whether these Exotic Class Items will be a one-time purchase or if players will be able to obtain multiple copies. Additionally, there is some uncertainty around whether completing the Dual Destiny Exotic mission will be a prerequisite for acquiring these items, similar to how it works with Xur.

The good news is that with the launch of Episode Revenant, Bungie has introduced a new feature called Exotic Class Item Attunement. This increases the chances for Exotic Class Items to drop with your selected perks, making it easier for players to get the perfect roll on their gear.

It’s important to note that this information comes from Bungie API and has not been officially confirmed by the developers. As always, take this with a grain of salt until it’s officially announced.
