In Destiny 2 Year 5, Bungie changed the dungeon model for the game, switching from a new dungeon with a new expansion to a brand-new dungeon every other season. With this change, every season has at least one raid or one dungeon to offer.
Season of the Deep (season 21) is officially live in Destiny 2, bringing in a fresh stream of content for fans to enjoy. Since players didn’t get a new dungeon with Lightfall, Season of the Deep also comes with a new dungeon called “Ghosts of the Deep.”

Recently, a datamine has revealed some exciting information about the upcoming Season 21 dungeon in Destiny 2, giving players a glimpse into the new dungeon armor and weapons they can expect to unlock. This is your spoiler warning!
Destiny 2 Season 21 Dungeon: Ghosts of the Deep Armor and Weapons
With the new update now live in the game, dataminers have been hard at work uncovering details about Destiny 2’s Season of the Deep, including the new loot for the upcoming dungeon which goes live this Friday, May 26, 2023, at 10 AM Pacific.
Just like any other dungeon, the new Ghosts of the Deep dungeon features an armor set for each class, Titan, Warlock, and Hunter, as well as a set of new weapons exclusive to this dungeon. we have made a custom graphic to showcase the datamined armor sets and weapons, which you can find below. - Exotic Trace Rifle: The Navigator
- Stasis Wave Frame Breech Grenade Launcher
- Solar Rapid-Fire Glaive
- Solar Aggressive Submachine Gun
- Stasis Aggressive Rocket Launcher
- Ghosts of the Deep Title: Ghould
- A Grave Matter and Regicide emblems
- Restoration Ritual Origin Trait: Reviving allies or killing enemies with finisher reloads this weapon and readies an emergency reload for the next time this weapon runs out of ammo.
Season of the Deep brings in some of the biggest updates in any Destiny 2 season, including fishing (yes, you read that right!), taken-themed weapons, UI inspection updates, and much more.
And there you have it, a teaser for the new Season of the Deep dungeon in Destiny 2. Keep in mind that we will get an official look and key art for this new dungeon later this week.
